Canvases are without a doubt the best way of enjoying my abstract art. The impact of one of my large pieces hanging in a lounge room or boardroom is second to none. The intensity of the subject matter combined with the contrasting shades when viewing a canvas which is 1500mm wide, truly is something special to experience. Not to mention the hidden “ink blot” features common to all my work, which reveal themselves in different forms when viewing my art over a period of time.
I am currently printing canvases in three sizes as listed below.

Note that all prices are in Australian Dollars, and there are no shipping and handling charges applicable to my canvases - I ship free of charge to most locations in the world.
When I receive your order, I will email you with a PayPal invoice and an approximate delivery date. Once your payment has been processed, you will receive your new piece of art in approximately three weeks.The company I use to produce my canvases are Australia’s leading canvas printer, specialising in canvas prints for professional photographers. They only use USA-made archival, acid-free matte that's recognized as the world's leading fine art canvas. This type of canvas is featured in well-known art galleries and art museums around the world. They also print using genuine Epson Ultrachrome inks, creating bright, vibrant colours that literally jump off the canvas. All of this adds up to you receiving the highest quality canvas print available on the market today.
If you don’t wish to invest in a canvas, you might consider purchasing a digital download image file with either a Commercial Use Licence or a Personal Use Licence. The highest priced Licence is only $249.95 per image and provides you with the major benefit of using the image in multiple ways - see below for further information.
Digital downloads are available in one of three sizes, subject to either a Commercial Use Licence or a Personal Use Licence (see below for pricing and details). The prices listed are per image, and are in Australian dollars.
A digital download is simply a digital image file, available for immediate download to your computer after your purchase has been completed using PayPal.
The images are available in one of three different resolutions:
12MP - this is the full sized image, approximately 12 megapixels in size, and is suitable for all commercial uses or for printing large poster sizes.
4MP - this image is approximately 4 megapixels in size. An image of this size allows for high quality printing at sizes up to 30 x 40cm. For prints larger than this, the 12MP size would be a better option.
1MP - this image is approximately 1 megapixel in size. An image of this size is perfectly suited for use as a screen saver or background image on your computer, or on a website. This size is not suitable for printing.
Note: please be aware that while you can always use a 12MP image as you would a 1MP image - as a screen saver etc, you can't do the reverse. Keeping that in mind, you'll see that you actually have more value for money and more options available to you if you invest in the 12MP image sizes.

Commercial Use Licence:
Pieter Brits grants the purchaser a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use these images for permitted commercial purposes, subject to the following:
Permitted commercial uses include:
• advertising, promotion, and brochures
• as part of a commercial website for promotional purposes
• using prints, posters, and flyers for promotional purposes (but not for resale)
• prints, posters, or other commercial display of the images
• magazines, books, newspapers, and other printed publications
What you may not do:
You may not resell, redistribute, or relicense these images without express written permission from Pieter Brits.
The images may not be used in a pornographic, obscene, illegal, immoral, libellous or defamatory manner.
The images may not be incorporated into trademarks, logos, or service marks.
The images may not be made available for download.
Title and ownership, and all rights now and in the future, of and for the images remain exclusively with Pieter Brits. There is no warranty, express or implied, with the purchase of these digital image files. Pieter Brits will not be liable for any third party claims or incidental, consequential or other damages arising out of this license or purchaser's use of the images.

Personal Use Licence:
Pieter Brits grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable personal use license to download and copy the accompanying images, subject to the following restrictions:
This license is for personal use only.
This means a non-commercial use of the images for example, making prints for personal use, or for displaying on your personal computer or website.
What you may not do:
The images may not be used in any way in which you charge money or a fee, or where you receive any form of payment.
The images may not be used in advertising.
The images may not be resold, relicensed, or sub-licensed.
Title and ownership, and all rights now and in the future, of and for the images remain exclusively with Pieter Brits. There is no warranty, express or implied, with the purchase of these digital image files. Pieter Brits will not be liable for any third party claims or incidental, consequential or other damages arising out of this license or purchaser's use of the images.
Advantages of Digital Download:
You have instant access to your image instead of having to wait weeks for it to arrive via post.
At the larger image sizes you have the freedom to have your image printed in different sizes and whichever medium you choose - canvas, photographic paper, and even on items such as t-shirts and cups.
The biggest advantage however is that once you purchase the digital image, you have the feedom to use it over and over again, subject to the conditions in the licences below.
For example, if you purchased a 12MP image with a Personal Licence, you could use it on your personal computer as a screen saver or desktop image, then have a copy printed at a postcard size to have on your desk at work, as well as having a large canvas print in excess of 1 metre in length printed to hang on your loungeroom wall, or to give a friend as a personal gift. All of this just for the one purchase price.
